Created to encourage curiosity in each other and deeper connections, Jo Giles and Claire Lam have created this free resource: Life, death and loss cards.
Jo and Claire hope that the cards will help people grow their confidence in starting conversations about life, death and loss.
“Death is an inevitable part of life, yet we don’t talk about it that much.
Talking about death helps us think about what’s important to us in our lives. It helps us think through what we want to happen at the end of our lives and afterwards. At death it gives those we care about the peace of mind that they are doing what we want. It eases the way for them.
These cards are for anyone to use and are free. They were originally inspired by Support Workers as a way to give people more confidence in discovering more about the people they support and talking about death and loss.
We hope people find them helpful.”
