Tim is an Associate Consultant with Paradigm. Tim currently works as a Person Centred Planning Co-ordinator in the North East, trying to make social justice a reality for people through planning, community development and brokerage. Tim has also worked for the Valuing People Support Team developing and supporting the Hands Off My Plan website.

After a diverse employment history in construction, cleaning, pub management and music, Tim finally began working with people with learning disabilities. After 6 years working in residential care, Tim studied first Geography, and then Social Work at University. After qualifying, Tim worked in the advocacy movement – particularly supporting self advocacy. Tim supported groups to have their voice heard through consultation with government bodies but also through campaigning and direct action.

Tim provides a diverse range of consultancy and training work including Person Centred Planning, Support Planning, involving people in recruitment, supporting people to speak up, support brokerage and community development.

Tim lives in Whitley Bay and is locally renowned for his tenor banjo playing, amongst other string instruments.
