Julia Fitzpatrick

Associate Consultant
Julia has extensive experience in working with voluntary, not-for-profit and statutory organisations developing person centred approaches to housing and support, and linking individual planning to strategic planning for changing services and extending housing options. She supports new and existing organisations with business planning and organisational development, leadership development and development of Boards of Management.
Prior to working as an independent consultant, she was a Director of Consultancy for Paradigm, and before that, Director of Ownership Options in Scotland, seeking equal access to home ownership for disabled people. As Director of Housing and Care Services for a regional housing association in Scotland she developed and managed a range of housing and support services.
In addition to consultancy, Julia researches, writes and provides training on housing and other issues related to inclusion and participation. Julia is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. She lives in Edinburgh with her husband.
