Jeanette Gill
Marketing & Development Manager
Jeanette was born and raised in Southport. After a very successful academic career at school, she went on to complete a degree in Marketing, Media and Cultural Studies at John Moores University in Liverpool. Jeanette graduated in the Summer of 2003 with a 2:1.
Jeanette's professional career began immediately with a post at a theatre company in Liverpool where she was the Marketing, Media and PR Manager. During this time her work contributed to the company winning an award at The Liverpool Echo Business Enterprise Awards and the attendees at the theatre doubled. Next, Jeanette accepted a post as the Conference and Events Co-ordinator at a Best Western hotel in Southport. Her key responsibilities here werre for the promotion and organisation of high quality, profitable, weddings, concerts, conferences, product launches, bridal fayres, exhibitions, and private functions.
In February 2005, Jeanette was invited to join the international leadership development organisation, Common Purpose as Programme Co-ordinator and was quickly promoted to Programme Manager. Jeanettes had the prime responsibility for organising, co-ordinating and assisting in the delivery of the organisations education and development programmes, events and activities across the North West. After nearly 5 years at Common Purpose, Jeanette was approached by the new flagship Hilton Hotel Liverpool to be their Conference and Events Sales Manager. Jeanette oversaw the opening of the conference and events department prio to it's opening and throughtout a very successful opening which included managing and organising many high profile events.
In her spare time, Jeanette enjoys socialising with friends and family, and particularly enjoys travel and visiting new places. Jeanette is just as enthusiastic about her interest in music and arts and enjoys attending a variety of concerts, musicals and plays as well as business events.
