Doug is the Chief Executive of Pure Innovations; a not for profit company that took over the work previously undertaken by the Employment Services section of Stockport Social Services Department in July 2005. He has extensive supported employment experience dating back to 1986.
Pure Innovations work across all disadvantaged groups and have a reputation of working solely with people who face extreme difficulties in the jobs market who have been rejected by regular job finding agencies. Pure has a wide funding base including a large Greater Manchester wide WORKSTEP Programme. They have extensive experience of working across Europe including Portugal, Spain and Italy. Pure Innovations work strategically with large employers through the Embracing Diversity programme.
Doug sits on Stockport's Valuing People Partnership Board and Connexions Partnership Board.
