The DELI group, in partnership with the North West JIP and Paradigm are proud to announce the launch of their paper ‘Altogether NOW- Collectively figuring out how to develop alternatives to just paid support.’
The content of this paper, aimed at sharing thinking and practical ideas, is the result of listening to and drawing out the ideas from people and organisations in the North West.  The paper details some of their efforts to explore what has and may work, in terms of supporting people, in today’s world.

All involved were particularly taken with the notion of just enough support, Where people have neither too much not too little (both of which can be equally bad), and where we work ethically and tirelessly, whatever the financial realities, to develop additional and alternative support through communities, families, technology and other solutions.
Carey Bamber (Personalisation Programme Manager)was involved in the Development of the paper and explained that ‘the North West Joint Improvement Partnership is delighted  to support the development of this work which we believe offers a significant contribution to new thinking and innovation supporting disabled people and families.’

The paper, co-authored by Owen Cooper (IAS) and Sally Warren (Paradigm), is available as a FREE download
Let’s work together to ensure that more and more people receive the right support, at the right time, from the right people.
