A National Response
You may remember that in June Paradigm joined forces with other service providers, advocates and campaigners to explain the action required to prevent the sort of abuse of people with learning disabilities shown in Panorama programme. This response was coordinated by NDTi and a response from the Prime Minister was received this week. The Prime Minister says he wants a ‘joint plan of action ..... both locally and nationally to drive improvement ... and influence future policy and practice.’ Let’s all make sure we play our part in ensuring action.
